Drafting functional specifications (Regulatory analysis) and business requirements, documenting
‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes and delivering process flows and process documentation
2. Providing follow-up and support for the validation phases and production
3. Business analysis experience in regulatory change projects - demonstrate the ability to complete
functional analysis to assess impact to current business processes to ensure compliance
4. Work closely with both the project teams & the relevant business lines to ensure current
processes are fully understood and documented
5. Meeting with stakeholders to capture detailed requirements considered necessary to deliver on
objectives
6. Participate in the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities
7. Continuously track key metrics and validate the success of the product/features, while creating
new hypotheses to kick-start the lifecycle again.
8. Enable development team to deliver on time and on target.
Skills and Experience
The expertise we’re looking for
1. MUST have experience within the financial services industry (banks, brokers, fund managers, Fin
Tech) with Knowledge of Financial Services including Capital Markets, Fund Services and Asset
Management, with exposure to regulatory change.
2. MUST have experience with regulatory driven initiatives, ideally also inclusive of control delivery
3. Experience in collaborating with project team & stakeholders, across multiple business and
locations, to categorize and prioritize regulatory requirements
4. 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, technology, or software development.
5. Experience in Agile methodology and delivery
6. Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science. An MBA is a plus.
7. Full capability with core Business Analyst tools of practice – Microsoft Office, including Visio.
Ideally also experience with Jira, Confluence and BlueWorks.
