The Role (In a nutshell)
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and ensuring software quality through automated and manual testing. Your goals and responsibilities will include:
About You
The ideal candidate can demonstrate experience of implementing industry-standard processes necessary to ensure quality and robust software products. We’re open to all levels and lengths of experience.
You’ll be proficient using your preferred tools of the trade (Selenium, Cucumber, Jest, JIRA, etc…) whilst basic development skills are advantageous (but not essential), especially knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
You’re able to work well in a team, have strong attention to detail, and are good at understanding detailed requirements to inform the test cases you create.
Your written communication skills are first-rate, especially around technical subjects.
You are deeply pragmatic and skilled at prioritising: you understand the trade off between velocity and perfection.
You’re always striving to learn and improve your skills; passionate about the work you do and other areas of the software development process.
